In Abrahamic monotheism, women have been demoted, placed below men, when it is obvious that they must be Exactly and Equally as important as men. Any other idea is utter lunacy. Religions where sex is viewed as “sin,” and celibacy is viewed as “holy” are quite ridiculous, and only serve to separate us from the truth of our existence even farther. Celibacy is no more holy than eating fried chicken, or not eating it. Celibacy may be good for an individual, may be good for a time. But it does not make one more holy. Even the most celibate of monks and nuns incarnated here through the system of sex.
